  • ½ large head purple or red cabbage shredded or thinly sliced
  • 1 cup wine vinegar
  • Juice of ½ limon
  • Salt 1 tbsp
  • Water
Directions
Step 1 - Put thinly sliced cabbage into a large bowl.
Step 2 - Add 1 tbsp salt and mix all sliced purple cabbage.
Step 3 - Put all into jar. Add one cup wine vinegar, juice of ½ limon and complete the jar with enough water.
Step 4 - Keep the jar in the refrigerator at +4°C for three days.
Pickled cabbage will keep, covered and refrigerated for up to a month. Just be sure to have all of the cabbage submerged in the pickling solution.
